Introduction to Science
Science is about curiosity. Children are born with an innate curiosity that has them exploring the world around them. As they age, they learn that society does not always appreciate and reward curiosity. It has been deemed that science should be included in the core education of all students. What does that really mean? Students need to remember their curiosity. Science is the world around them. In school science classes, the focus is on Scientific Phenomenon . That is such a big word and it seems so official. It is a daunting word that (IMO) makes me think I will only be exploring big things like volcanoes or car crashes. It's not.
